Loopfam child safety standards · Updated 7 October 2026

zero tolerance for child abuse.

Loopfam is for sharing photos with the people you choose. There is no place on it for anything that sexualises, exploits or endangers children, and we act on every report.

Our standards

We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, anywhere on Loopfam: photos, videos, captions, comments, profiles, group and Chapter names, and share links. That includes:

  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM), real or computer-generated
  • any content that sexualises a minor
  • grooming, or contacting a child for sexual purposes
  • sextortion, or threatening to share intimate images of a minor
  • trafficking or offering children for sexual purposes
  • sharing, asking for or linking to any of the above

Breaking these rules gets the content removed and the account closed, with no warning and no second chance. You must be at least 13 to use Loopfam (see the Terms).

How to report it

  • A post: tap the three dots on it, then Report post, and choose Child safety.
  • A comment: tap the three dots beside it (or press and hold it), then Report comment.
  • Anything else, like a person, a conversation or something that happened outside the app: go to You, then Report a safety concern. You can send it without leaving the app.
  • On a share link page: tap Report this content. You don't need an account.
  • By email, anyone, any time: write to [email protected] with a link to the content or the group's name, and what you saw. Please don't attach or forward the images themselves.

You can also block someone from a post's or comment's three dots, or the group's People screen, and you'll stop seeing anything they add.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first. In the US you can also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org; elsewhere, your national hotline is listed at inhope.org.

What we do with a report

  • Every report goes to Loopfam's moderation queue and alerts our moderators straight away. Child safety reports go to the top of the queue. The group owner sees reports about their group too.
  • Content that breaks these standards is taken down everywhere at once, including any share links to it. A reported comment is removed from view but kept as evidence.
  • We close the accounts involved and stop them signing up again.
  • We report apparent CSAM to NCMEC and cooperate with law enforcement, and we keep the evidence for as long as the law requires, even after removing it from the app.

How Loopfam is built to help

  • Groups are closed. Only people who are invited can see or add anything, and there's no public profile, search or way for strangers to message you.
  • A share link shows one photo, and the person who made it or the group owner can turn it off at any time.
  • Group owners can remove any photo and anyone from their group.

Child safety contact

Our designated contact for child safety, including questions from law enforcement and child safety organisations, is [email protected]. A person reads every message.
