your photos are for your people.

The short version first, then the detail. If anything here is unclear, write to [email protected] and a human will answer.

We don't sell anything about you.

No ads, no data brokers, no selling your photos or your contacts. Ever.

Only your group sees your photos.

Unless you make a share link. Then whoever has the link sees that one photo.

Delete means delete.

Remove a photo and it's gone from every feed and link. Backups clear within 30 days.

What we collect

Your name, email address and profile photo. The photos, videos, captions, reactions and comments you add. The groups and Chapters you belong to. Basic device information (model, OS version, app version) so we can fix crashes. If someone opens a link you shared, we count the open so you can see it in Activity.

We keep photo metadata like date and time so feeds run in order. Location data inside a photo stays with the photo and is stripped from public share links.

How we use it

To run Loopfam: storing and showing your photos to your group, sending the notifications you've switched on, and keeping the service secure. We don't train models on your photos and we don't build advertising profiles.

Who can see what

Members of a group see what's posted to its feeds. Members of a Chapter see that Chapter. Anything still in the pool is visible to the group but not posted to a feed. The group owner can remove photos and turn off share links. Our storage and hosting providers process data on our behalf under contract and nothing else.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your content while your account is open. Leave a group and you choose whether your photos stay with it. Delete your account and we remove your profile and content within 30 days, apart from anything we're legally required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
